ESA Announcement Released for Internal Consultation Reveals Registration Dates from March 31 to May 4 and Exam on September 15, with Details on Fees, Exemptions, and Offering of 1,000 Positions in Various Areas, Emphasizing the Importance of Early Preparation for the Exam.

The long-awaited announcement from the School of Sargentos das Armas (ESA) has finally surfaced, bringing essential information for candidates of the exam. Although not officially published in the Official Gazette of the Union, the announcement was disclosed internally by the Army, detailing what will be officially released by March 27.

Registration will be open from March 31 to May 4. Candidates are advised to sign up promptly, dedicating themselves to studies to ensure effective preparation. The exam is scheduled for September 15, with the fee exemption period running from March 31 to April 4.

The exam offers 1,000 positions distributed among the general, music, and health areas. The registration fee is set at R$ 95.00, with the possibility of exemption for those who meet specific criteria. See HERE the Army Bulletin.

Preparation and Opportunities in the ESA Exam

ESA retains the previous program content, without adding new subjects, covering Portuguese, mathematics, English, history, geography, and essay writing. The final result of the exam will be announced on December 6, 2024. To be approved in the ESA exam, candidates need to achieve a minimum of 50% correct answers in each of the knowledge areas assessed in the test, in addition to not scoring zero in the essay. It is crucial to achieve a balanced performance in all subjects and a good score in the essay to be approved.

According to recent information, the salary of an ESA student is around R$ 1,200.00 to R$ 1,400.00 per month. This amount is a stipend designed to cover basic personal expenses during the training period. After completing the course and being promoted to sergeant, the salary increases significantly, according to the salary standards of the Brazilian Army.
