Under the coordination of the Brazilian Institute of Management and Research – IBGP, the SAMU contest will fill positions of high school, technical, and higher education levels with salaries reaching R$ 8,419.22, for a work schedule of 20 to 40 hours per week. Requirements and Registrations in the SAMU Vacancy Selection Process
Applicants for the SAMU contest must be native or naturalized Brazilians, be in enjoyment of political rights, be in good standing with electoral obligations, and be up to date with military obligations.
For male candidates, a minimum age of 18 years old at the time of hiring is required, and a minimum age of 21 years for the position of Rescue Driver, having physical and mental health compatible with the duties of the public job, including compatibility of disability, in the case of approved candidates who indicated their disabilities, assessed by doctors accredited by CISRU Central South, among others.
Registrations for the selection process to work at SAMU can be made from 9 AM on January 6 until 4 PM on February 4, 2025, through the IBGP website.
The registration fee for the SAMU contest ranges from R$ 45 to R$ 200, according to the position. However, a total exemption from the registration fee may be granted to candidates who, due to financial limitations, cannot bear the cost of the registration.
The registration fees will be waived for unemployed citizens, members of low-income families characterized by registration in the Unified Registry for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico), in accordance with Federal Decree No. 11,016/2022 and, finally, by the condition of economic-financial insufficiency. All the requirements for such conditions are described in the Notices.
How Will the SAMU Contest Tests Be?
To work at SAMU, as a means of classification, candidates will be evaluated through the following stages:
- Objective test of eliminatory and classificatory nature for all positions;
- Practical test, of eliminatory and classificatory nature for the positions of Rescue Driver, Nursing Technician, Nurse, and Doctor;
- Title test of classificatory nature for higher education positions.
- The objective test of the SAMU contest is scheduled for March 23, 2025. The time and location of the tests will be provided up to five days before the test date on the organizer’s website.
The SAMU vacancy selection process will be valid for 2 years from the date of homologation of the final result, and may be extended only once, for an equal period.
