Interest in free online courses grows

Due to the new Covid-19 pandemic, the need for social isolation accelerated the trend of free online courses, a modality that was already growing in Brazil, known as distance education (EAD).

According to a survey carried out by Unicesumar –the fourth largest Brazilian university-, between August and October 2020 alone there was a 39% increase in enrollments for distance undergraduate courses.
