Check Out The Problems Caused By Shell’s Misleading Advertising
First, the RCC Highlighted That Green Hydrogen Is Misleading Because It Is A Byproduct Of Chlorine Production And Despite Having A Certificate As Non-Harmful To The Environment, It Is Not What The Consumer Would Truly Consider Green. Furthermore, The Term “Millions” In The Misleading Advertisement Has Not Been Confirmed By Shell Itself, Which Failed To Provide Sufficient Evidence Of How Many Kilometers Are Traveled Using Hydrogen.
According To The Commission, The Advertisement Suggests A Significant Contribution; However, This Is Currently Modest Compared To The Total Kilometers That Have Been Traveled. Shell Stated That It Would Study The Verdict Before Responding, Claiming It Is Transforming Into One Of The Largest Drivers Of Change Toward Renewable Sources In The Netherlands.

In August Of Last Year, Consumers In São Bento Do Sul Approached The Public Prosecutor’s Office After Discounts Were Not Presented By The Fuel Network. The Company Was Offering Discounts Through An App, But Consumers In The City Could Not Use Them, Having To Pay The Full Price Of The Product.
