New Unit in São Bernardo do Campo Expands Logistics Capacity of Shopee, Accelerates Deliveries and Strengthens Structure Before Black Friday and Christmas.
As reported by CNN Brasil, Shopee announced the opening of its 14th distribution center in the country, located in São Bernardo do Campo (SP).
The new space aims to expedite deliveries and reduce the average shipping time of products sold by Brazilian retailers on the platform.
With the largest automated logistics sorting system of the company in the cross-docking model, the structure will be able to process approximately 3.8 million orders per day.

Strategic Expansion and Job Creation
According to the company, the inauguration is expected to generate around 4 thousand direct and indirect jobs. Rafael Flores, head of Expansion at Shopee, stated that the new unit represents “the inauguration of this unit marks a significant leap in our logistics capacity in Brazil,” highlighting that the new sorter will allow processing millions of orders with greater efficiency and speed.
The company strategically planned the inauguration just before major e-commerce events such as Black Friday and Christmas, periods of high demand.
Faster Deliveries and Expanded Presence
Currently, 25% of Shopee deliveries arrive the day after the purchase, and 40% within two days, in São Paulo. The fast delivery option already reaches over 75 cities in the regions of São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, and Rio de Janeiro.
In the first half of 2025, Shopee also announced the creation of an air route São Paulo–Manaus, which promises to reduce the average delivery time by 60% for the North of the country.
With the new inaugurations in 2025, Shopee will operate with 14 distribution centers — comprising 12 in the cross-docking model and 2 fulfillment — as well as over 150 first and last mile hubs spread across Brazil.
