On the evening of last Tuesday (06/18), in the capital city of São Paulo, SKF was acclaimed as the Best Brand of the Year for 2024 in the Rolling Bearing category. The honor was awarded during the 15th edition ceremony of the event, which took place at the FIESP Noble Space. This recognition reiterates the excellence and commitment of SKF to the automotive replacement market and its position as a leading brand in the sector.

Receiving the Gold award from Sindirepa-SP further reinforces the company’s pioneering spirit and its reputation for providing high-quality replacement parts, as the executive pointed out. Since the establishment of the Sindirepa-SP Award in 2009, SKF has been awarded Gold ten times in the Rolling Bearing category, five of which were in the most recent editions, in addition to four Silver awards. In total, the company has accumulated 14 nominations for the award since 2011, underscoring the market and workshops’ preference and trust in the brand.

Sindirepa-SP, with over 80 years of history, has played a crucial role in the development of the automotive replacement market in Brazil, representing a universe of 30,000 vehicle repairers, of which more than 700 are in the State of São Paulo. Antonio Fiola, President of Sindirepa-SP, congratulated SKF, recognizing its representative role in the Brazilian market as a leading brand in the sector and praising the company’s know-how for elevating the segment’s maturity to a standard of excellence.
The Sindirepa-SP Award and Its Impact on the Market
The Sindirepa-SP award is an important honor that recognizes companies in 16 categories of products within the national automotive replacement market. The selection of awarded brands occurs through an online survey conducted by Cinau – Automotive Intelligence Center, which consults repairers associated with the different segments of the entity. These professionals choose the brands they admire most, considering criteria such as quality, availability, and service.
The ‘Sindirepa-SP Award – The Best of the Year’ was established in 2009, with the aim of valuing the best practices of the national auto parts industry and promoting improvement throughout the supply chain. The award aims to reflect good examples in the overall improvement of service to workshops and, consequently, in the delivery of services to vehicle owners.
