Embraer has just confirmed a new international client for its KC-390 cargo aircraft, Uzbekistan, and is announcing a significant modernization of the Brazilian Air Force’s (FAB) A-29 Super Tucano, integrating fifth-generation technology. These upgrades highlight Embraer’s expansion in the global military market and its commitment to maintaining the technological competitiveness of its products.
Uzbekistan has chosen the KC-390 to modernize its airlift fleet, replacing old aircraft such as the Antonov AN-12 with this more modern and capable model from Embraer. With the capacity to transport 6 tons more cargo than its predecessor, the KC-390 represents a qualitative leap for Uzbekistan’s military operations, which will also benefit from complete service and spare parts packages.
