Startup from the USA, decided to innovate in the generator market and developed what is believed to be a portable power plant capable of supplying homes
A startup from San Francisco, USA, has launched a product that is known as a “portable power plant” that uses solar energy and does not need fossil fuels. The EcoFlow DELTA is a small compact power generator that is about the size of a toaster oven. In addition, the product has a storage capacity of 882 Wh and a power of 1400 W, which are generated by solar energy or by a simple socket. The device generates enough electricity to power a home for up to 12 hours.

The solar-powered mini-plant can also be used to supply electricity for up to 12 household appliances at the same time, such as notebooks, cameras, TV and in addition it can work as an emergency battery for homes in the event of a power outage, without needing a generator. noisy that runs on more polluting fossil fuels.
Startup's portable power plant also features fast charging technology, managing to reach 80% charge in just one hour and 100% capacity is completed in just 1,6 hours. According to the company, other solutions being offered on the market take triple that time to be fully recharged.

EcoFlow DELTA uses practicality as a last name
Away from home, the portable plant that does not require fossil fuels can be recharged using only 110 W solar panels, which guarantee Startup's equipment a full charge in up to 8 hours. In addition to solar energy, the small plant can be charged through the car's 12 V input, ensuring electricity even without any conventional socket nearby.
The use of the EcoFlow app is mandatory for all features of the mini plant are made the most of. As app it is possible to control the charging speed, check the health of the battery, have information about which equipment is connected and check the life consumption of each one of them.
The small electricity generator's charging system is based on LFP battery technology, the same used by Tesla's electric cars, which guarantee electricity for at least 3.500 charge cycles before its capacity is reduced by 20%. The technology used in the equipment also allows for up to one year of useful life, maintaining a full charge.
Portable plant dispenses fuel and costs only R$ 5 thousand
The portable electricity station is in the crowdfunding phase and aims to deliver the first units by the end of this month. Despite being equipment that only brings benefits, the mini-plant will not be sold for such an affordable price.
Startup's equipment costs US$ 999 (about R$ 5 thousand in direct conversion). For now, the electricity generator is only available for sales in the US, where according to the startup, the demand for this type of more efficient and fossil fuel-free generator has increased by almost 70% in the last two years, mainly in more remote regions. of urban centers.
According to Thomas Chan, CEO of Ecoflow, the mini plant is smaller, accessible and lighter, making electricity a portable element that can be taken anywhere at any time.
