The new Fiat 500 and Peugeot 208 e-GT electric car models, by Stellantis, arrive in Brazil in July
Grupo Stellantis, made up of FCA and PSA, is planning to launch two new electric car models in Brazil next month. One of them will be a model of the new generation of the Fiat 500, and another will be the Peugeot 208 e-GT.

According to information, the Fiat 500 model should have only one top-of-the-line Icon version and with a value of around R$ 250. The model will have a 118 horsepower engine, which will make the car reach 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds.
With a range of 320 km, the Fiat car will have a top speed of 170 km/h. The Peugeot 208 e-GT will be imported from France and will also cost approximately R$ 250.

The electric cars of this model have a range of 340 km and will have a 136 horsepower engine. Its torque is 26,5 kgfm, allowing Peugeot to reach 0 to 100 km/h in 8,1 seconds.
Stellantis intends to create 200 charging points for electric cars in the country
Creating a welcome for the Fiat 500 and Peugeot 208 e-GT electric cars, Stellantis partnered with Enel X and Estapar to create a recharge network made up of 200 points in Brazil, which is known as Ecovagas. According to the person responsible for Programs and Product Planning for South America at Stellantis, Breno Kamei, the partnership is part of several initiatives by Stellantis to prepare a base for electric cars from Fiat and Peugeot even before they arrive in the country.
It is estimated that the Ecovagas will be implemented later this year, but these 200 points will only be for this first semester, with the possibility of being expanded in the future.
The points will be installed in airports, shopping malls, arenas, commercial buildings, hospitals and some teaching institutions. Initially, they will be installed in 10 states and 23 cities.
Stellantis may bring Citroën electric vehicles to the Brazilian market
In addition to Fiat and Peugeot, the company, which also owns Citroën, could bring the ë-C4, a 100% electric version based on the latest generation of the C4 model. Another one that could also arrive in Brazilian territory is the C5 Aircross, a plug-in hybrid.
The ë-C4 has a 50 kWh battery and a 136 horsepower engine, and other elements that are also present in other sustainable cars from the PSA Group. It has a range of approximately 350 km on a single charge.
