National initiative expands access to free online courses with certification, creates ranking by performance, and opens path to full scholarships in undergraduate and postgraduate, connecting quick professional qualification to real opportunities for higher education at SENAI CETIQT.
The SENAI CETIQT College is accepting registrations for the Knowledge Race 2026 until November 27, 2026, bringing together more than 40 free, self-instructional distance extension courses with certification and a concrete possibility of competing for three full scholarships in higher education courses.
Throughout this edition, the institution plans awards in Fashion Design, Chemical Engineering, and postgraduate studies in Fashion Product Design, as established in the announcement, expanding the reach of the initiative and connecting initial training to longer academic trajectories.
Within the virtual platform, courses can be taken at each participant’s own pace, without tutoring, although individual performance plays a decisive role, as the ranking considers the total completed hours, the average in assessments, and the number of completed courses.

In this context, the race goes beyond free access to content and serves as an educational engagement strategy, where organization, consistency, and academic performance determine the final position in the ranking and, consequently, the chances of winning a scholarship.
Criteria to participate and enter the ranking
To be among the classified, it is not enough to simply enroll in multiple courses, as all participants must mandatory complete the course “Getting to Know SENAI CETIQT”, which has 20 hours and integrates into the overall performance score.
In addition to the requirement, it is necessary to achieve a grade equal to or greater than 6.0, an indispensable condition for eligibility, as candidates who do not reach this minimum performance are automatically excluded from the competition for the offered scholarships.
According to the regulations, courses must be completed by December 30, 2026, the date that marks the end of access to the platform, requiring advance planning from participants who intend to accumulate relevant hours.
Although it is possible to redo activities for learning purposes, only the first result obtained in each course is considered in the ranking, making the initial performance decisive for the final score and requiring extra attention.
Participation is open to the general public, including students, alumni, and collaborators of the Industry System, as well as workers and dependents of companies associated with industrial unions, provided they have basic computer skills.
In this scenario, it is also essential to have regular access to the internet and familiarity with digital tools, as the entire journey takes place in the virtual learning environment provided by the institution.
Free EAD courses in fashion, industry, and management
With a diverse offering, the 2026 edition brings together introductory and updating courses aimed at the areas of fashion, industry, textile sector, chemistry, and management, allowing different profiles to find paths compatible with their professional interests.
Among the available content are topics such as technical fashion drawing, modeling, textile fibers, chemical processes, and microbiology, as well as contemporary approaches related to leadership, sustainability, circular economy, and innovation.
In this way, the participant can structure a strategic path, increasing both the total hours and the number of completed courses, factors that directly impact the position in the final ranking of the competition.
Another relevant point involves the tiebreak criteria, which consider age and also the date and time of enrollment in the first course, reinforcing the importance of starting the journey as soon as possible.
In an institutional statement, coordinator Ana Cláudia Lopes highlighted that the initiative is eagerly awaited each year for offering a real opportunity for free access to higher education, reinforcing the project’s role as an educational bridge.
Full scholarships in undergraduate and postgraduate: what is at stake
Among the awards, the scholarship for Fashion Design guarantees access to in-person undergraduate studies at the Barra unit, in the evening shift, while the scholarship for Chemical Engineering also corresponds to an in-person spot at the same campus and period.
The third scholarship covers the EAD postgraduate course in Fashion Product Design, allowing greater flexibility for the student who has already completed higher education and seeks specialization aligned with the sector’s demands.
Although the entire race takes place in the online environment, it is important to note that undergraduate scholarships require physical presence, which implies availability to attend in-person classes in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
To enroll in undergraduate courses, the candidate must have completed high school and meet academic requirements, with enrollment expected in the 2027.1 or 2027.2 semesters, according to the institutional calendar.
In the case of postgraduate studies, the requirement is to have a higher education diploma, maintaining the selective character aligned with current educational regulations for admission to specialization courses.
The final result will be announced at the end of January 2027, at which point candidates should monitor the official publication and, if selected, formally request the benefit from the Academic Secretariat.
How to register for the Knowledge Race 2026
Registrations are free and must be made on the official SENAI CETIQT portal, where the candidate selects the desired course, fills in the requested data, and indicates, at this stage, which prize they intend to compete for.
After confirming the registration, access to the virtual environment is sent via email, allowing for immediate start of activities and planning of the study journey within the available timeframe.
Although it is allowed to participate in several courses simultaneously, only those completed within the established period count towards the ranking, which requires organization to maximize performance.
