Earn R$ 1,850 monthly with only 4 hours a day! UFSCar is offering positions for tutors and EAD teachers without exams. Don’t miss this unique chance to work from home and contribute to distance education in Brazil.

Have you ever imagined securing an income of R$ 1,850 per month working only four hours a day, all without leaving home?

It seems like one of those hard-to-believe promises, but the news comes from one of the most respected universities in Brazil.

An unmissable opportunity that combines flexibility and attractive remuneration has been announced, and applications are open, but the deadline is short! Learn more below and find out how to take advantage of this unique chance.

Applications Open at UFSCar for EAD Positions

The Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) has announced new selection processes for various positions in the field of Distance Education (EAD).

According to the General Secretariat of Distance Education (SEaD), positions are available for Course Coordinator, Training Professor, In-Person Tutor, and Virtual Tutor, without the need for approval in a public competition.

The selected candidates will work in the specialization courses offered by the Open University System of Brazil (UAB), an initiative that seeks to expand access to higher education in Brazil through distance learning classes. The involved courses are:

  • Specialization in Improvement of School Climate and Strengthening Distributed Leadership in Public Basic Education Schools;
  • Specialization in Municipal Public Management;
  • Specialization in Early Intervention in Childhood: Practices Centered on Family and Natural Contexts;
  • Degree in Pedagogy.

Applications must be made online until December 19, 2024, and there is no fee charged.

According to the announcements published by UFSCar, the hired professionals will work a weekly workload of 20 hours, with a remuneration of R$ 1,850 monthly.

How to Participate in the Selection Process

Those interested in occupying these positions should access the official UFSCar website and fill out the application form available under the Selection Processes tab.

The university has made specific announcements available for each course, detailing the requirements and responsibilities of each role. Check the links below to access the documents directly:

It is essential for candidates to read the announcements carefully to understand the selection criteria and required documentation.

Opportunities for Teachers and Tutors

The available positions cover different levels of activity and requirements. Check the open roles and their respective responsibilities:

Course Coordinator: responsible for the pedagogical and administrative management of the course, ensuring the quality of the activities developed;

Training Professor: directly involved in planning and offering subjects, as well as monitoring students’ academic performance;In-Person Tutor: assists in mediating in-person activities and supporting students at UAB partner units;

Virtual Tutor: oversees students on digital platforms, providing technical and pedagogical support.

The work modality is hybrid for some roles and fully remote for others, making the positions attractive for professionals seeking greater flexibility in their daily routines.

Benefits and Impact of the Initiative

In addition to the remuneration of R$ 1,850 monthly for a reduced workload of 20 hours per week, the opportunity allows hired individuals to develop their academic skills and contribute directly to the democratization of higher education in Brazil.

According to UFSCar, this initiative strengthens the training of professionals in strategic areas such as public management and early childhood education.

Another highlight is the possibility of working in an innovative environment that is highly valued in the educational landscape.

UFSCar is nationally recognized for excellence in teaching and for promoting inclusive initiatives, such as the Open University System of Brazil.
