Not only is it standing out due to its newly acquired 50% stake in Opla in Paulínia (SP), but Ultracargo is also making bold moves by inaugurating a unit in Rondonópolis (MT) and planning a new terminal in Palmeirante (TO).
Innovations and Opportunities: Rondonópolis on the Radar
The terminal in Rondonópolis is about to receive a significant injection of investments. The goal? To double its storage capacity and expand both rail and road routes. This will facilitate the flow of ethanol transportation. It is worth noting that this terminal has a direct rail connection to the Port of Santos, passing through Paulínia – where Ultracargo holds a 50% share of the liquid bulk terminal.

Expansion in the North and Bright Future
But the Midwest is not the only target. Ultracargo is also eyeing the North. Alongside plans to expand the Terminal de Itaqui (MA) by 2026, the launch of the terminal in Palmeirante is in the works. This terminal will be connected by rail to the Port of Itaqui, making liquid bulk logistics more efficient in the region. Scheduled for 2025, the terminal will focus on transporting biodiesel, ethanol, gasoline, and diesel.
