Auditor Physician – Internal Audit – Maceió-AL
The Auditor Physician will play a crucial role in the analysis of medical procedures, validation of hospital accounts, and auditing of internal processes, ensuring that the services provided comply with the guidelines of the National Health Agency (ANS) and the regulations of Unimed Brazil.
Main responsibilities include:
- Analyze medical procedures and OPME, establishing a Medical Board in cases of discrepancies.
- Treat technical discrepancies with attending physicians and participate in technical chambers to standardize protocols.
- Issue technical opinions to support legal and administrative processes.
- Monitor hospital audits and assess medical accounts.
- Monitor clinical protocols based on Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM).
- Participate in hearings of the Ethical and Technical Council, when invited as a witness.
The position requires up-to-date technical knowledge on health tables (TUSS, CBHPM, Brasíndice, and Simpro), as well as ANS regulations.
