The Uno Mille 1.0, known for its reputation as an economical car, was the protagonist of a practical test conducted by Tiago, the creator of the “Cars with Tiago“.
The proposal was simple: fuel the vehicle with just 2 liters of gasoline and see how many kilometers it could cover with this limited amount of fuel. The experiment was conducted transparently, with all details recorded on video.
Start of the Challenge: Empty Tank and Odometer Zeroed
The test began with the car already on empty. Tiago and his partner decided to continue driving until the fuel ran out completely. The chosen vehicle was a 2013 Uno Mille 1.0.

Two people were on board the car. The air conditioning remained off, and the speed was kept between 80 km/h and 100 km/h, on a predominantly highway route.
These factors are important as they directly influence fuel consumption.
The use of air conditioning, for example, can increase the engine’s effort and consequently raise consumption. Maintaining a steady speed on the highway tends to favor fuel economy.
Uno Mille Surprises with Positive Results
After the journey, the odometer recorded 35 kilometers covered with the 2 liters of gasoline. This represents an average consumption of 17.5 km/liter.
The performance reinforced the reputation that the Uno Mille has carried since it was produced.
Considered one of the most economical models in the national market, Fiat’s compact car was, for many years, the choice for those needing a low-maintenance vehicle, with affordable parts and excellent fuel efficiency.

Ele foi descontinuado por conta do custo alto para adequa-lo as novas regulamentações de emissões e segurança. Como air-bag, sistema abs que hoje são obrigatórios.
