SISTAC Launches New Opportunities for Nursing Professionals Seeking to Work in the Offshore Oil and Gas Sector, Learn More and Apply
To support the company’s operations and activities under newly awarded contracts with Petrobras, SISTAC – Access Systems is Again Requesting Offshore Occupational Health Nursing Technicians. The positions were announced today (10/05) and the candidates will be assigned to operations on shallow diving vessels. See the requirements below:
Offshore Occupational Health Nursing Technician: Main Responsibilities
- Receive, control, and replenish the medications on the vessel;
- Request the withdrawal of expired medications and infectious waste from the vessels;
- Keep the registry updated with health information for each crew member on the vessel;
- Monitor the validity of materials and medications;
- Work in accordance with good practices, safety regulations, and procedures;
- Implement and ensure compliance with good Hygiene and Health practices on board the vessels;
- Supervise the Hospitality team to ensure that all health and hygiene-related methods and processes are being performed correctly;
- Perform and monitor controls related to food, such as temperatures, expiration dates, menu history, and storage;
- Supervise the reception of the Vessel’s Provisions in terms of hygiene and health aspects.
- Education: Technical Course in Nursing, and previous Offshore experience is a plus.
