WindCom Is Offering 20 Job Openings in the Renewable Sector for Technicians with Experience in Wind Turbine Blade Maintenance

WindCom is providing 20 job openings for technicians in various regions of Brazil and abroad, to expand its field teams in the renewable energy market, working on finishing, repair, and maintenance activities on wind turbine blades. The proposed requirements are: to have experience in maintenance and repairs of wind blades and to have full availability for national and international travel.

Wind energy is one of the renewable energies that generates the most job openings in Brazil, ranking just behind hydraulic energy. Wind energy generates around 34,000 job openings per year.

In the field of wind energy or renewables in general, technical professionals, technologists, and engineers stand out. Some of the professions at the technical level are: mechanical technician, electrotechnics, renewable energy systems among many others.

Renewable Energy Market in Brazil

Our country is one of the leaders when it comes to renewable energies. Currently, the country ranks third in the overall global ranking of renewable energies, which includes bioenergy, wind, solar, hydraulic, and geothermal.

In the solar energy field, for example, last year, Brazil joined the group of the top 20 nations producing photovoltaic energy, occupying the 16th position.

The top positions are held by China, Japan, the United States, and Germany, respectively. To give an idea, Brazil’s accumulated capacity in 2019 was 4,533, while the Chinese accumulated 205,072 MW.
