About half of the new cars sold in Brazil are SUVs, making this the largest segment of the automotive market. By the end of the year, this segment will introduce the most new models. Therefore, we have prepared an updated list with all the SUVs expected to be launched in the country in 2024.
Among the new releases are models from emerging Chinese brands, such as Omoda 5 and Zeekr X, as well as luxury vehicles like Audi Q6 e-tron and Porsche Macan, according to information from Auto Esporte.

Q6 e-tron and Q8
Audi will celebrate 30 years in Brazil in 2024, and the main launch will be the electric SUV Q6 e-tron, expected in September or October. With dimensions similar to a Q5, it will have rivals such as BMW iX and Mercedes-Benz EQE, a range of up to 620 km, and power of 387 hp.

X2/iX2
The new generation of the BMW X2 arrives in combustion and electric versions, with prices of R$ 388,950 and R$ 443,950. With a coupe SUV design, it features the M Sport package in both versions.

BYD
Song Pro
After the King, BYD will bring the Song Pro, a mid-sized hybrid SUV with a starting price around R$ 200,000.

Caoa Chery
Tiggo 7 PHEV
The Tiggo 7 PHEV will be a mid-sized plug-in hybrid SUV, competing with the BYD Song Pro. With a range of 80 to 100 km in electric mode, it is expected to cost around R$ 200,000.

Chevrolet
Blazer EV
The Blazer EV RS, imported from Mexico, has engines that deliver 565 hp, a range of 450 km, and is expected to be launched in the coming months.
Equinox EV
The electric version of the Equinox will also be launched, in addition to an update of the combustion model with a 1.5 turbo engine of 175 hp.

Citroën
Basalt
New coupé SUV, the Basalt arrives to replace the C4 Cactus, with a 1.0 turbo-flex engine of 130 hp and CVT automatic transmission.
Fiat
Pulse Bio-Hybrid and Fastback Bio-Hybrid
The new SUVs Pulse and Fastback debut the Bio-Hybrid technology in Brazil, with a 1.0 turbo engine of 130 hp and a 12V battery.
Hyundai
Palisade
Larger than the Santa Fe, the Palisade has a V6 3.8 gasoline engine with 295 hp and arrives as a large eight-seater SUV.

Jaecoo
Jaecoo debuts in Brazil with the SUV 7, rival of BYD Song Plus, featuring a 1.5 turbo engine and two electric motors, totaling 317 hp.

Compass and Commander
Electrified versions of the new SUVs Compass and Commander Bio-Hybrid e-DCT, with a 48V micro-hybrid system, will arrive in 2024.
Kia
EV5 and EV9
The EV5, a mid-sized SUV with a 217 hp engine and a 64.2 kWh battery, and the EV9, a large SUV with 384 hp and a 99.8 kWh battery, will be launched in Brazil.

GLC 43 Coupé
The GLC 43 Coupé arrives with a 2.0 turbo four-cylinder engine and a 48-volt micro-hybrid system, delivering 421 hp.

Mini
Countryman and Aceman
The new generations of the Mini Cooper and Countryman, along with the new Aceman, arrive in Brazil. The electric Countryman offers 306 hp and a range of 320 km.
Mitsubishi
Outlander PHEV
The new generation of the Outlander, now a plug-in hybrid, shares platform and components with Nissan, delivering 251 hp and a combined range of 675 km.
Neta
L and Aya
Neta debuts in Brazil with two SUVs: the Neta L, with hybrid and electric versions, and the Aya, an entry-level electric SUV with 95 hp and a range of 401km.
Omoda 5
The coupé SUV Omoda 5, in micro-hybrid and electric versions, arrives with a range of 450 km in the electric model.
Peugeot 2008
The new generation of the 2008 will be launched with a 1.0 turbo engine of 130 hp and CVT, promising advancements in driving aids.
Porsche
Macan and Cayenne GTS
The second generation of the electric Macan and the GTS version of the Cayenne with a V8 4.0 engine delivering 500 hp will be launched by the end of the year.
Volkswagen
Nivus
The Nivus will have its first facelift, with LED headlights inspired by the European visual identity and a 1.0 turbo engine with 128 hp.
Volvo
EX90
The Volvo EX90, the electric version of the XC90, arrives with two electric motors delivering 517 hp and a range of 600 km.
Zeekr X
The Zeekr X, an electric SUV based on the Volvo EX30, will have two powertrains: one with 272 hp and another with 428 hp, with a range of up to 440 km.
