The Strengthening of Agribusiness in Mato Grosso Advances with the Opening of ApexBrasil’s Office in Cuiabá, Expanding Exports, International Connections, and New Opportunities for Local Companies
The agribusiness in Mato Grosso receives a new support structure aimed at increasing the international presence of companies in the state and strengthening their foreign sales, according to a report published.
The inauguration of the ApexBrasil Office in Cuiabá, scheduled for November 24, brings together federal institutions and the productive sector to bring export services closer to local chains.
The initiative arises from joint work between ApexBrasil, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, and the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso.

WEG took its technology to Spain to create a solar irrigation system that operates independently without needing an electrical grid, and now farmers control everything remotely via their mobile phones.
The goal is to facilitate access to international markets for companies and connect producers to the opportunities opened by the agricultural attachés.
Throughout the program, entrepreneurs will be able to participate in negotiation rounds directly with representatives from global markets.
The ceremony will be held at Cenarium Rural, starting at 8:30 AM, with the presence of Minister Carlos Fávaro and ApexBrasil President Jorge Viana.
The event marks the consolidation of an agenda that, between 2023 and 2025, accumulated more than 170 international actions in 42 countries, resulting in US$ 18 billion in projected business and the participation of more than 3,000 Brazilian companies.
With this background, the new unit in Mato Grosso emerges as a tool to decentralize services and make life easier for those wishing to expand their sales abroad.
Exports from the Midwest as a Driver of Regional Competitiveness
The state will have a structure set up at the Famato headquarters, within the Political Administrative Center.
This location seeks to bring producers and public institutions closer to specialized services for export, internationalization, and investment prospecting.
The Mapa currently maintains 40 agricultural attachés in 38 posts around the world, responsible for opening, maintaining, and expanding markets for Brazilian products.
In this context, strengthening the exports from the Midwest directly connects local companies to foreign trade policies, offering technical support aligned with the demands of international buyers, including regulatory guidance and sanitary adjustments.
Business Round in Cuiabá and the Role of Agribusiness in Mato Grosso
The inauguration program promotes a business round gathering representative entities from different segments and Brazilian agricultural attachés, providing a favorable environment for new agreements.
The presence of agribusiness in Mato Grosso in this dialogue reinforces the state’s potential in sectors such as food, sustainability, and agro-industrial production.
To participate, interested companies must register in advance, ensuring direct access to international representatives.
The strategy comes from the shared vision of Minister Carlos Fávaro, who highlights the importance of aligning production, income, and global insertion.
Internationalization of Mato Grosso Companies and Attraction of Foreign Direct Investments
With offices in centers such as Miami, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai, Moscow, Brussels, and Bogotá, ApexBrasil expands its operations to connect Mato Grosso companies to markets across North America, Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and Africa.
The institution currently maintains six units in Brazil and another 11 abroad. This network facilitates the internationalization of Mato Grosso companies and creates conditions to attract foreign direct investments to the state, reinforcing the strategic role of Mato Grosso in foreign trade.
For President Jorge Viana, proximity to local producers favors the conquest of new markets and expands business opportunities.
Thus, agribusiness in Mato Grosso integrates global actions in a more organized manner, strengthening the regional productive environment.
At the end of the event, producers and entrepreneurs will have access to information about export and the new services available at the unit, reinforcing that agribusiness in Mato Grosso is included in a broader international expansion agenda aligned with national foreign trade efforts.
