Project Started in 2022 Became Reality in 2023 and Today Symbolizes Dedication, Roots, Friendship, Daily Practice, and Pride of the Skater from Maranhão for Her Family and the Entire Community
The skate park built in the backyard of Rayssa Leal’s house, in Imperatriz, Maranhão, represents the realization of a dream that the athlete had been nurturing for years. The project began to take shape in 2022 when the skater herself showed the start of the construction of a space specially designed for her training on social media.
From the beginning, Rayssa made a point of sharing each step of the process with her fans, revealing details and celebrating each advancement as a personal and professional achievement.
The Dream That Started in the Backyard
At the time, a silver medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Rayssa published videos of the ongoing project and described the excitement of witnessing the construction.

Skatepark in the Backyard: A Dream That Came True
Three years later, the dream became a reality. The skatepark was completed in 2023 and officially became part of the skater’s list of major achievements.
Rayssa celebrated the final result on social media, highlighting her pride in seeing the project completed.
The mansion where the athlete lives with her family is located in her hometown. Besides serving as a training place, the space was also designed for moments of bonding with friends and close people, reinforcing Rayssa’s connection with her roots and those who are part of her journey.
