The Honda keeps its promise of launching ten motorcycles by 2025, revealing another exciting addition for the Brazilian market at the Interlagos Festival. The focus is on the XR 300L Tornado, a model that resurrects a classic name previously used by Honda in the 2000s. Design And Innovative Features
The XR 300L Tornado, scheduled for official launch in July, promises an exciting off-road experience while maintaining the quality and performance characteristic of Honda. Derived from the XRE 300 Sahara, it undergoes notable transformations such as a revamped tank fairing and a distinct LED headlight from the Sahara model. Unlike its predecessor designed for long trips with larger fairings, the Tornado 300 incorporates a lighter and narrower profile, ideal for off-road adventures.
Excellence In Engineering
Honda’s commitment to excellence in engineering stands out in the construction of the Tornado. Adopting a chassis similar to the CRF line of Honda’s off-road motorcycles, it features a semi-double cradle steel frame— a design known for its durability and agility on rugged terrain. The suspension system, with a telescopic fork in the front and a black-painted aluminum swingarm, ensures optimal performance on various surfaces. Maintaining continuity with the Sahara, the XR 300L Tornado features 21-inch front wheels and 18-inch rear wheels, however, equipped with Metzeler Karoo tires for reliable traction on various terrains. Thus safety remains a priority, with disc brakes on both wheels, complemented by ABS for enhanced control and braking power.
