1. BYD King
The Chinese midsize sedan BYD King has just officially landed in Brazil, with a launch scheduled for June and the first units being delivered in July. These cars impress with their robust design, surpassing the Toyota Corolla by 15 cm in length.
Inside, the BYD King offers high-quality finishing and ample space for five adults. Notable features include full LED headlights and taillights, 17-inch wheels, and various chrome details.

2. Volkswagen Amarok Facelift
The German intermediate pickup Volkswagen Amarok will undergo a significant facelift to remain competitive in the Brazilian market. Although it won’t receive the new generation available in Europe, the Amarok will gain an aesthetic update inspired by Volkswagen’s new visual identity, including reshaped bumpers, full LED optics, and wheels of up to 20 inches.
Inside, the 2024 Amarok will come equipped with a 10-inch VW Play multimedia system, an 8-inch digital panel, wireless smartphone charging, and a keyless entry. Mechanically, it maintains the 3.0 V6 turbo diesel engine with 258 horsepower and 59.1 kgfm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The new Amarok will launch in early the second semester, with prices likely higher due to the updates.

3. Nissan Sentra Facelift
The midsize sedan Nissan Sentra, which is already the second best-selling in its category in Brazil, will receive a facelift to remain competitive. With launch scheduled for the third quarter of 2024, the new Sentra will feature a refreshed front with a Black Piano grille and chrome details, as well as full LED taillights.
The interior gains a new 10-inch multimedia center with wireless smartphone pairing. Under the hood, it continues with the 2.0 naturally aspirated engine with 151 horsepower and 20 kgfm of torque, coupled to a CVT transmission that simulates up to eight gears. The new 2025 Sentra will maintain the prices of the current model, consolidating its position in the market.

4. Volkswagen Nivus GTS
The compact coupé SUV Volkswagen Nivus will receive a sporty GTS version, featuring a 1.4 turbo flex engine with 150 horsepower and 25.5 kgfm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. With a launch scheduled for the beginning of the second semester, the Nivus GTS will have full LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, and Black Piano details.
Inside, an upgraded interior is expected with more synthetic leather and an updated list of features. The Nivus GTS will be a direct rival to the Fiat Fastback, with prices above R$ 160,000.

5. Caoa Chery Tiggo 9
The large SUV Caoa Chery Tiggo 9 will be the brand’s flagship in Brazil, offering sophistication and space for up to seven passengers. With an elegant design, 19 or 20-inch wheels, and full LED optics, the Tiggo 9 impresses both in appearance and technology.
Inside, the premium finishing and the complete list of features of these car models promise a luxury experience. Mechanically, it may be equipped with a plug-in hybrid engine or a 2.0 turbo gasoline engine producing 250 horsepower and 38 kgfm of torque. The Tiggo 9 arrives to elevate the segment of Chinese luxury SUVs, with competitive prices below R$ 300,000.
