Eneva Receives Authorization from ANP to Integrate Hub Sergipe into TAG Network, Becoming the First Connected Private Agent. Supply to UTE Termopernambuco Starts This Month.
The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) authorized Eneva, the leading private natural gas operator and power generator in Brazil, to connect the Hub Sergipe to TAG’s pipeline network. This connection marks Eneva as the first private agent to integrate into the infrastructure of the company’s pipelines.
Starting this month, natural gas supply to UTE Termopernambuco will begin according to the contract signed with Eneva. The integration of Hub Sergipe into TAG’s system also includes the use of the GNL Terminal, which further enhances logistics and gas distribution in the region. This authorization represents an important milestone for the private energy sector in Brazil.
The GNL Terminal, known as Hub Sergipe, located in the municipality of Barra dos Coqueiros, in Sergipe, was connected to TAG’s network. With this connection, the company establishes itself as the first private agent to integrate into the country’s gas transport network, reinforcing its position in the sector.
