Itaú has dozens of new vacancies in free programming courses. According to the company, students who excel during the program will be hired to work on the technology team.
O Itaú opened, last Saturday, registration for its Itaú Devs Bootcamp, technology training program. In this edition, the institution provides 30 exclusive vacancies for people with disabilities. Those who are selected will have free programming courses that will last nine months, including theoretical and practical stages, operating in bank business.
Requirements required to participate in Itaú's free technology courses
Itaú's program is completely free and all those selected will be hired by the bank from the first day of training. In the last two years, the institution held 12 Itaú Devs Bootcamps, with exclusive editions for women, blacks, trans people, brown people and people with disabilities. In all, more than 400 people were hired and trained and are currently on the company's technology team.
Through initiatives such as this one, Itaú doubled the representation of people with disabilities in its technology area over the last year, jumping from 280 at the end of 2020 to 560 in December 2021.
People from all over the country can sign up for the free programming courses from Itaú and no technology experience required. The requirements are to be over 18 years old and available to work 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, during business hours. Visual impairment: Medical report required with data on the visual acuity of both eyes, with the best optical correction or data on the measurement of the visual field of both eyes.
