Following The Increase In Goods Movement Operations In The Region, BBM Logistics Expanded Its Highway Freight Transport Network And Now Serves All States In The Northeast Region For Operations.

On this Friday, (07/15), the goods movement and logistics company BBM Logistics has expanded its highway network in the Northeast region and serves all states in this area. This is another growth strategy for the company in the national market and, with the significant growth of the region in recent years regarding product commercialization, the company now aims to ensure freight transport operations to keep pace with the rhythm of these states.

BBM Logistics Highway Network Expanded In The Northeast And The Company Serves All States With Freight Transport Operations

Amid a high demand for goods movement services and product deliveries across Brazil, BBM Logistics has ensured growth in its operations in the Northeast region and expanded its highway network. Thus, the company, which was previously only present in the states of Maranhão, Ceará, Piauí, Bahia, and Sergipe, will now operate in Rio Grande do Norte, Pernambuco, Paraíba, and Alagoas, thereby covering all states in the region with these services.

Additionally, BBM Logistics disclosed the exact data on its operations in the Northeast and Brazil, confirming that, with the expansion of its highway network in the region, it is now present in 5,329 Brazilian municipalities. The growth in service provision in the new states of the region has guaranteed the company a 20% increase in the territory covered. Thus, BBM Logistics ensures even greater presence in freight transport operations in Northeastern cities.

The growth of BBM Logistics’ highway network now allows the company to send and receive products from all over Brazil via the municipalities of the Northeast, ensuring greater efficiency in services. Therefore, the company anticipates a growth of approximately 50% in cargo volume and an increase of more than 55% in revenue compared to the current income in the Northeast, due to the new freight transport contracts that will be signed in the region.

Northeast Region Holds The Runner-Up Position In Product Consumption In Brazil And BBM Logistics Aims To Leverage Numbers To Grow In The Area

The northeastern region of Brazil not only has significant relevance in terms of territorial extension and population but has also become the second largest in terms of product consumption in Brazil. The states of the Northeast account for 18.2% of goods consumption, trailing behind the Southeast region at 49%, according to the IPC Maps 2022 study, confirming its relevance in the national scenario.

Therefore, André Prado, CEO of BBM Logistics, emphasized the importance of keeping pace with growth through the highway network and stated: “The Northeast is developing rapidly, and we could not fail to serve the region in its entirety. Through the expansion of our consolidated transport network in the region, we will also create space for the provision of new direct delivery services (e-commerce), full loads, and dedicated contracts. Furthermore, we will be very close to covering all states in Brazil, considering our upcoming expansion to the North region.”
