Get To Know The Batteries That Store Solar Energy
Once collected and stored, solar energy can be used to power homes and BMW’s electric vehicle batteries. The Battery flex will be available on the market by the end of the year. The agreement between the two companies stipulates that BMW will supply battery components used in electric cars to Solarwatt, which intends to develop and manufacture solar energy storage products. The storage system in the batteries has a total capacity ranging from 4.8 to 240 kWh.
The companies stated that the project will seamlessly integrate with existing solar energy systems, both alternating current and direct current. The individual components will weigh about 25 kilograms, allowing for simple installation and maintenance of the accumulator.
