See the List of the 10 Positions That Performed Best in the Last 12 Months

The pandemic drastically affected Brazil’s economy, leaving thousands of Brazilians unemployed and on the lookout for job opportunities that arise. A survey by the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC) showed that the services sector and occupations related to professional activities led the ranking of job creation in Brazil.

The data shows that 8 out of the 10 activities that opened the most job vacancies in the last 12 months are in services. The professions of production line feeder, janitor, office assistant, retail salesperson, and construction worker lead the professions.

PROFESSIONS THAT GENERATED THE MOST JOB VACANCIES

• 1 – Production Line Feeder – Job Balance: 289,322; 
• 2 – Retail Salesperson – Job Balance: 201,302; 
• 3 – Janitor – Job Balance: 170,972; 
• 4 – Office Assistant – Job Balance: 154,283; 
• 5 – Construction Worker – Job Balance: 147,627; 
• 6 – Administrative Assistant – Job Balance: 146,648; 
• 7 – Truck Driver – Job Balance: 97,974; 
• 8 – Cashier – Job Balance: 95,066; 
• 9 – Store and Market Attendant – Job Balance: 86,594; 
• 10 – Nurse Technician – Job Balance: 80,813. 

The CNC balance took into account the additions and dismissals in the last 12 months. The shutdown occurred in July, among more than 2,500 occupations from Caged.

Economy Reveals 41.2 Million Jobs in 2021

Recently, the Ministry of Economy announced that the total number of employed workers in the country in July is 41.2 million people, compared to 38.1 million in the same period of the previous year.

“No matter how much the economy is growing, the job market cannot employ all the people who are looking for work. There are jobs being created, but the generation is not keeping pace with the demand.,” said Fabio Bentes.

One of the sectors that stands out the most in the economy is services. The sector was one of the most affected due to pandemic restrictions. Today, because of the advancement of vaccination, the services sector has been one of the most important in the economic recovery.
