The executive emphasizes that Crea needs to revitalize and reorganize its staff. As the state has grown and developed, the number of registered professionals and companies has multiplied exponentially, and social demands have also increased as Crea effectively inserts itself to contribute to societal issues. It will now organize itself to meet new challenges.
The Importance Of Crea For Society
Although it encompasses several areas beyond engineering, the regulatory body plays a significant role in relation to technical responsibility for construction works and services.
The Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy has entities in all states of the country aimed at guiding, regulating, and improving the ethical and legal practice of professionals in the fields of engineering, geosciences, and agronomy.
The entities of Crea incorporate the Federal Council of Engineering and Agronomy (Confea), whose mission is to ensure the safety of society and the sustainable development of Brazil, considering ethical professional principles.
The Regional Councils operate through various means; however, it is possible to highlight two essential services provided by Crea: the issuance of Professional Registration and the Registration of Technical Responsibility Annotation (ART), one of the main documents for the regulation of works.
