The fixed charger takes 8 to 24 hours to fully charge a Tesla electric car, while the company’s mobile charger requires only 8 minutes. According to Lashin, several companies are interested in the charger, such as British Petroleum, which declared that it would be easier to buy L-Charge technology or open a car park than to create similar technology from scratch.
Some French companies are already interested in creating a park with L-Charge minivans. According to the director, a kilowatt-hour will cost around US$ 0.4 to US$ 0.6, and to request the company’s service, the client will use a smartphone app.
The L-Charge app will function like an Uber, the customer will call, and the minivan will serve them as quickly as possible to charge their electric car. It is worth noting that a minivan with the company’s mobile charger costs around US$ 150,000.
