Of the 22 positions available from VLI, 11 will be for Young Apprentices in Mechatronics in Divinópolis (MG), 8 for Young Apprentices in Mechatronics in Monte Carlos (MG), and 3 for Young Apprentices in Logistics in Santa Luzia. Young people who have completed high school and can commit to 8 hours a day can apply for the VLI selection process.

The course for the railroad maintenance area will specifically be developed through a partnership with the National Service for Industrial Learning (SENAI).

The learning experience at the logistics company will last a maximum of two years, with opportunities for the apprentice to secure a permanent job with the company after completion. Those selected for the Young Apprentice program will receive, in addition to a scholarship of R$ 1,100, a meal card, transportation vouchers or charter bus, dental assistance, Gympass, medical assistance, professional development, food vouchers, a Christmas basket, and, in addition, a network of discounts at various stores, salons, and restaurants.
