In 2025, Bahia Will Host the Brazil-Germany Economic Meeting (EEBA), an Annual Event That Brings Together Government Officials and Entrepreneurs to Discuss Ways to Enhance Trade and Investments Between the Two Countries.
EEBA takes place annually, alternating between Brazil and Germany. This year, Belo Horizonte was the host city for the event, with the European country taking the lead in 2024. From Sunday (12) to Tuesday (14), the 2023 edition delved into the theme “New Approaches for Energy, Climate, and Digitization.”
The technical team from the Secretary of Economic Development (SDE) partnered with and received support from the Federation of Industries of the State of Bahia (FIEB). The National Confederation of Industry (CNI), along with the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG), led the process.
“Holding the 2025 event in Bahia is very strategic for closing new deals and generating more jobs for the people of Bahia. The EEBA is an excellent opportunity for German companies to better understand our investment opportunities and business environment,” said the Chief of Staff of the SDE, Aécio Moreira, at the 2023 edition in Minas.
