The Receipt of Material for Clean Wind Power Generation Was Made at Santos Brasil’s Logistics Terminal
The company Santos Brasil received at the end of February, at its Logistics Terminal Saboó, in São Paulo, in the city of Santos, 6 blades intended for wind power generation, which are 67 meters long and weigh 16 tons. The material for wind power generation came from China, shipped on the vessel “Caspian Harmony”, with a final destination in Bolivia, according to the website “Portos e Navios”.
The unloading of the wind power generation material, in the State of São Paulo, at Santos Brasil, took place at the end of February, and all the logistics for transporting the cargo were designed and prepared to receive the shipment from China with large dimensions.
To unload the wind blades, various equipment was used, such as two cranes on the deck of the ship, which were used mainly to ensure that the unloading of the material was done as efficiently as possible, all previously validated by safety teams and also by specialists in the field in Brazil and the cargo representative.
