Good news for shipbuilding in Brazil, the multinational Modec estimates that by 2024 it will generate 600 new jobs for the onshore and offshore areas in the country, an expansion of 25% of its workforce.

Currently, the oil multinational operates 10 FPSOs in Brazil and is building five more platforms for the Brazilian offshore market.

On its way to Brazil, the FPSO Carioca MV30 will be the first unit to start operating, the platform vessel will produce in the Sépia field, an area of ​​transfer of rights in the Santos Basin operated by Petrobras.
