New GWM Car Will Compete Against Toyota SW4
The Tank brand was launched by Great Wall Motor in 2021 and debuted with the Tank 300 SUV. Back then, GWM had already confirmed the arrival of the Tank brand in Brazil, and now there is expectation that the first model from the brand here will be the GWM Tank 700. It is set to challenge competitors like the Toyota SW4 and other models.
It is worth noting that, in addition to this new GWM car, the brand also showcased the POER model during the event. This model has already been confirmed by the company for the Brazilian market and has even been spotted testing here.
Despite the camouflage, it is easy to identify the Poer and notice accessories like snorkel, side steps, roof rack, and widened wheel arches. In practice, it is the same design presented by GWM at an event held in April, when it confirmed the start of national production of the Poer for 2024.
GWM Is a Sales Leader in Brazil

Among brands, GWM stood out in hybrid car sales. The Chinese manufacturer registered the Haval H6 line as the best-selling model among all electrified vehicles in the country in October, quickly filling the space previously occupied by the Japanese Toyota with the duo Corolla and Corolla Cross. There were 1,450 units sold of the SUV, making it the second highest sales volume for the brand in the country since April.
