Heftos signed a contract with Petrobras for services at the Minas Gerais Refinery, and with Trident Energy for operations in the Campos Basin

This past week, Heftos closed two contracts, with Petrobras and Trident Energy, to establish its position with oil and gas companies. The agreement provides for the provision of services at the Gabriel Passos Refinery (Regap), in Minas Gerais, and on the platforms that operate on assets in the Campos Basin.

After a period of almost three years after the end of the blockade with Petrobras, the Heftos signed a contract with the state-owned company for the renovation of the sulfur removal plant at the Gabriel Passos Refinery for 21 months.

The agreement with the oil company Trident Energy covers maintenance, construction and assembly activities on the PPM-1, PCE-1, P-8 and P-65 platforms, which operate in the Pampo and Enchova fields, in the Campos Basin.

The contract with Trident will last for two years and will require approximately 400 workers for on-board functions, managed by the company's operations base in Macaé, RJ.

According to the director of Business Relations at Heftos, Telmo Ghiorzi, the company's victory in the "disputed" Trident competition was due to its vast experience in the Brazilian offshore and extensive network of relationships, which, according to him, qualifies Heftos for future contracts with other oil companies.

“There are relevant changes underway in the Brazilian oil and gas industry. The positive changes in the regulatory framework and the entry of private operators, including Trident Energy, are evidence of this”, adds the executive.

Heftos has more than 35 years of experience in Maintenance and Construction and Assembly operations at industrial units in the oil and gas sector. Serves and provides services to several customers in the industry, such as Petrobras.
