O SESI Lab has a special program for the 2024 school holidays! With lots of interactive activities, the 100% interactive museum is the perfect place for the whole family to explore and have fun. In addition to showing short and feature films, the SESI Lab It will also feature theatrical shows, live music and workshops to stimulate creativity and learning. Entry is free for everyone, making activities accessible to all visitors.

The activities of SESI Lab are unmissable, and the museum also offers the opportunity to experience unique experiences, such as interaction with virtual reality and holograms. In addition, the Interactive Museum will also offer guided tours and will have food trucks with healthy eating options for visitors. It's guaranteed fun for all ages!

To participate in SESI Lab, during the free season, it will be necessary to issue a ticket to Sympla. But, of course, it's all free. Throughout the month, opening hours will remain the same: Tuesday to Friday, from 9am to 18pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, it will be open from 10am to 19pm. SESI Lab coffee and concept store of the museum WILL BE OPEN on the same days and times as the museum's activities.

Cultural attractions will be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in January and the first weekend in February. On other days, the museum will be open for visitors. Entry will be permitted on all days up to one hour before closing.

Here you have your hands dirty! – Interactive Museum

With the inauguration of SESI Lab, in November 2022, Brasília gained a multipurpose space with free entry, a 6.1 sound system and digital projection. The SESI Lab tunnel is a gift for residents and tourists with programming for all ages, exploring different genres and experiments. During the holiday program, the venue will promote the ‘Cine Curtas’ project, with sessions on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 17pm.

The cinematographic program in the tunnel includes curation by Glauce Pena Santos, together with the museum's Cultural Programming team. To the animations chosen for the projection stimulate reflections on science, innovation and tech in everyday life. Among those chosen are short films from Pixar, the Brazilian series ‘Anima Criança: Lendas Brasileiras’, among others. The feature film ‘Minhocas’, the first film made in stop motion in Brazil, is also on the screening list.

Experimentation, interactivity, playfulness and innovation – Interactive Museum

On Saturday and Sunday mornings, at 11am, the space will host theatrical shows and a musical performance by the Brasília Ska Jazz Club, special for children. Among the plays, ‘Cadê o bicho que tava aqui?’, with Camerata Caipira, ‘O Romance do Vaqueiro Benedito’, with Mamulengo Presepada, ‘Udigrudi em ConSerto’, from the circus theater Udi Grudi, among others.
