WEGA Marine Supply Import and Export, which holds some contracts for hospitality services in the state of Rio de Janeiro, needs cooks and stewards today

Since last week, the offshore and maritime hospitality sector has been quite active in hiring, especially in the oil-producing cities in the state of RJ. As today is no different, WEGA Marine Supply Import and Export, through its operational base in the capital, needs some professionals to complete the crew for its contracts:

Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Professionals must be maritime
  • Positions only for Cooks and Stewards
  • CIR and all vaccinations up to date
  • Experience in the role
  • Preferably residents of RJ (But not a limiting factor)

The menus are developed by an in-house team of nutritionists with experience in the offshore and maritime modality who work directly in the coordination of food units. Skills to handle the required tasks will be necessary, as the work will be monitored by WEGA’s technical team both on land and at sea.

Emails should be sent exclusively to rh@wegamarine.com.br, stating in the subject line the name of the desired position. More details can be found in the screenshot below and the official call.

It is worth noting that MS CREW is also conducting a similar selection process and is still receiving resumes, but instead of Stewards, they are hiring Deckhands and Cooks. Access more details here, which could be another opportunity to enter offshore and maritime.
