IF Sul de Minas Opens 8,000 Slots in Free Distance Learning Courses

IF Sul de Minas Is Offering Various Vacancies in Free Online and EAD Courses for Over 8,000 Young People with Complete Elementary Education

The Federal Institute of Southern Minas (IF Sul de Minas) has 8,000 new vacancies in free courses. The institute is offering six courses that, although taught in the EAD modality, are aimed at the campuses of Poços de Caldas, Três Corações, Pouso Alegre, Inconfidentes, Machado, Passos, Muzambinho, and Carmo de Minas. The EAD classes will start this month of February and are expected to end in July.

The institution is offering opportunities for the following courses:

School Secretary Assistant (1,000 Vacancies)

This course aims to provide professional qualification related to the technological axis of Educational and Social Development.

Receptionist in Health Services (800 Vacancies)

Here, students will learn to operate in reception and service processes in health service environments.

Administrative Assistant (2,000 Vacancies)

In this course, students will learn to develop the ability to work in a team, create administrative and managerial controls, and deepen their administrative knowledge.

Human Resources Assistant (2,200 Vacancies)

This course focuses on training professionals to execute administrative processes in a company’s HR department and also perform activities to support the planning, evaluation, execution, and control of recruitment and selection processes.

Accounting Assistant (1,200 Vacancies)

In this course, students will learn to classify, reconcile, and perform financial entries for the sector responsible for a company’s accounting. They will also participate in tax assessments and filling out payment guides with government bodies.

Reception Agent in Lodging Facilities (800 Vacancies) Here, students will learn to apply techniques and technologies for check-in and check-out operations as well as other reception and lodging procedures.

Those interested in applying for online and EAD course vacancies have until the 14th of this month to attend the IF Sul de Minas campuses in person. To register, it will be necessary to fill out an application form with the following information: Full Name, CPF (of the candidate and the responsible person), Name of the Responsible Person, Race, Date of Birth, Address, Phone, Email, Level of Education, Type of School, among others. IF Sul de Minas requires that students be at least 16 years old and have a minimum education of Complete Elementary School. The selection process will take place through an electronic drawing, and at the end of the free online and EAD courses, students will receive a certificate of completion. In 2008, the Federal Government made a significant leap in education in the country by creating the Federal Institutes through the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific, and Technological Education. 31 Cefets, 75 Uneds, 39 Agricultural Technical Schools, 8 schools linked to universities, and 7 federal technical schools ceased to exist to form the IFs.

In Southern Minas, the federal agricultural schools present in Inconfidentes, Muzambinho, and Machado, which were well recognized for their quality in providing education, were unified, giving rise to IF Sul de Minas.
