According to sources, employees clocked out at 4 PM at Comperj in Itaboraí. Management opted for the immediate dismissal of the employees
Last week at Comperj, specifically starting on November 8th, an incident occurred that led to the dismissal of more than 50 workers who were involved in the construction of the project. This article is based on the account of an employee working on the project; although Click Petróleo e Gás trusts the source, we emphasize that this is not sensationalism or unfounded information.
Transcription of the account that occurred at Comperj
“Last Friday (11/8/19), several employees left their sectors to clock out. It was still 4:00 PM and the distance from some sectors to the clock was far. It is only allowed to clock out from 4:15 PM onwards on Fridays and Saturdays, and on holidays … On normal days, it is at 5:15 PM.
“Therefore, with so many people in the wrong place, management found it better to dismiss the employees as punishment, with over fifty from all areas, including supervisors setting a bad example.
On Monday (11/11/19), the dismissals of the employees began, with more than 50 meant to be on Saturday”, concluded the employee in a message sent to our team.

It is important to inform that despite these dismissals at Comperj, there had already been a reduction in workforce, mainly in the civil area. This is happening because the project is in an advanced stage and the reduction of the workforce is natural in such cases. Therefore, there would have been dismissals naturally. As far as we know, all labor rights have been respected.
