Job Opening for Project Manager II – Sorocaba, São Paulo

• Requirements: Relevant experience in project management, acting as a project manager with a related portfolio – E-houses, skids, MV panels, LV panels, transformers, auxiliary systems; Proven experience in managing project scope, cost, schedules, and suppliers/subcontractors; Knowledge of MS Office applications (especially MS Project and XLS); Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering); Advanced English is a mandatory requirement. Intermediate Spanish is desirable.
• Main Responsibilities: Support for Risk Review of new projects with Bid/quotation teams; Lead delivery and kick-off meetings with clients and internal teams; Manage the development of project planning documents (personnel, resources, schedule); Monitor projects to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE); Analyze and address project risks and regularly disseminate lessons learned; Work with other functions to coordinate contract negotiations and claims with clients.

Job Opening for Service Support Specialist for Motors and Generators – São Paulo, São Paulo

• Requirements: 3 years of experience as a service specialist; Able to communicate effectively with clients and within ABB, including good English skills; Quick learner, able to recognize patterns of recurring machine failures, thinking and acting systemically; Technical knowledge of electrical machines and rotating equipment, such as pumps, fans, and compressors; Know-how in machine digitization and case management in Salesforce is an advantage; Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in electrical machines or mechanical engineering; Able to be flexible and work in a team environment.
• Main Responsibilities: Prioritize, categorize, respond to, and close support cases from ABB local or end clients with service contracts. The focus is to provide technical support regarding Motors and Generators; Coordinate case escalation to factories (retrieve all information and summarize case history); Regular technical meetings with factories to get to know people and processes; Accumulate know-how by writing FAQs for common problems (especially for non-ABB motors); Actively support the global motion support center and local ABB to acquire skills and know-how, for example, by performing presentations for ABB in the region; Collaborate with team members in the three regions of the Global Motion Support team; Provide feedback to factories on product and process issues.

Job Opening for Architecture Solution – São Paulo, São Paulo

• Requirements: 5 years of experience in software design/development; Experience in commonly used business application technologies (.NET, MS SQL, Java, JavaScript, etc.); Experience with DevOps, Pipelines, CD/CI; Familiarity with Design Patterns, SOLID principles; Experience with testing, unit testing/integration testing; Experience with Docker Containers, Kubernetes; Experience with API Gateways, Load Balancers; Experience with Cloud Services (Azure/AWS); Experience with Git; Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent; Desirable experience with mobile applications (Xamarin/React Native/Flutter). Fluent in English.
• Main Responsibilities: Technical solution design for Information Systems; Ensure alignment with other modules and applications; Engage in requirements engineering to decide which requirements are covered by standard features and which features require enhancements; Review the work product provided by contractors; Advise and support changes to existing Information Systems solutions; Maintain documentation of integration scenarios; Conduct code reviews; Support teams with technical solutions and proofs of concepts for current and new applications; Maintain documentation of integration scenarios; Live the core values of safety and integrity at ABB, which means taking responsibility for own actions while caring for colleagues and the company.
