This 6 square meter studio was built from a hiffer container that already comes with thermal acoustic insulation in polyurethane and stainless steel walls and after being cut in half and transformed into a complete housing with a balcony costs R$ 40,900 with everything included and customized according to the client’s choice
For R$ 40,900, you can get a complete studio made from a container, ready to live in, with a balcony, bathroom, kitchen, ceramic flooring, and finished electrical and plumbing installations. The project is by the company Marazul Container part of a hiffer container that was used as a cold chamber that already comes with polyurethane coating serving as thermal acoustic insulation and internal walls made of stainless steel. The original 12-meter container is cut in half, and the 6-meter half is transformed into a studio with a 1.5-meter balcony.
What impresses in this type of project is not just the price. It is the level of customization that a container-made studio allows. Doors, windows, floors, internal and external colors, finishes, position of the energy, water, and sewage outlets are all defined by the client. There is no single model: each studio comes out different from the previous one because it is built according to the needs of the person who will live in it. This flexibility, combined with the affordable cost, explains why this format has attracted more and more interested parties.
What is a hiffer container and why is it ideal to become a studio

The hiffer container is a specific type used by the food industry as a cold chamber. Because of this original function, it already comes from the factory with features that directly benefit those who transform this container into housing.

Labor shortage: even with an average salary of R$ 8,700, the profession faces a shortage of 359 workers in Brazil and helps explain why radiotherapy is still hindered in cancer treatment in the SUS.
The internal polyurethane coating acts as thermal acoustic insulation keeping heat out in summer, cold out in winter, and reducing the entry of external noise. The internal walls are made of stainless steel, which makes cleaning easier and offers superior durability compared to conventional materials.
In practice, a studio made from a hiffer container is born with advantages that a masonry construction would need extra investment to achieve.
While a conventional house needs thermal blankets, fiberglass, or foam for insulation, the container studio already comes with this problem factory-resolved. It is an intelligent reuse of an industrial material that, without this destination, would likely end up scrapped.
What is the studio like inside and what is included in the R$ 40,900

The container studio shown in this project has an external beige color chosen by the client and an internal white color, which is the most requested standard.
The balcony has a wooden floor and access through a tempered glass door of 8 mm with a width of 2.30 meters by a height of 2.10 meters, in a sliding model, but it can also be made to open or in different sizes.

Inside, the 6-meter space integrates a living area, kitchen, and bathroom. The flooring is standard A rectified ceramic, but can be replaced with vinyl or porcelain.
The studio already comes with complete plumbing, individual electrical points with separate circuit breakers, a point for air conditioning, and a window of 1.20 by 1 meter that can be repositioned according to preference.
The bathroom has a sink with a mirror, toilet, and shower; the client of this project chose to cover only the shower wall, but it is possible to cover the entire bathroom. The bathroom door is made of varnished wood, measuring 80 by 210 centimeters.
The level of customization that the container studio offers
This is the point that differentiates the container studio from conventional prefabricated solutions. Practically every detail can be changed: internal color, external color, type of door, window size, position of openings, floor model, color of baseboards, color of exposed electrical installation, type of finish on the frames, and even the shape of the balcony roof.
In this project, the client chose isothermal panel frames around doors and windows, but there is also the option of traditional drip edge.
The exposed electrical installation can be black or white. The finishing profiles can follow the same logic.
The position of the energy outlet is defined by the client based on how the land works, as well as the water and sewage outlets. The container studio does not come with a fixed layout; it is assembled according to the client’s idea, and the construction adapts to this vision.
How much does this container studio cost and what influences the price
The value of this specific project, a 6-meter studio with a 1.5-meter balcony, complete bathroom, kitchen with plumbing, ceramic flooring, finished electrical installation, and black finishes is R$ 40,900.
This is a promotional price valid at the time of recording the source video, on March 31, and may vary depending on the period. It is recommended to consult directly to confirm if the condition is still available.
The final price of a container studio varies according to the client’s choices. More expensive floors, such as porcelain, can increase the cost. Larger or additional windows also.
But the starting point, a hiffer container already with thermal acoustic insulation, stainless steel walls, and structure cut and adapted for housing offers a solid base for a value that is hard to find in conventional construction. For those in need of compact, functional housing ready for use on their own land, the container studio is an option that deserves careful consideration.
