Luxury Division of Chery Launches in Brazil the Exeed Exlantix ES, Its New Luxury Electric Car, With an Estimated Price of R$ 675,826 and Exceptional Performance.
The Chery group, already present in Brazil with the Omoda | Jaecoo brand, plans to expand its presence in the Brazilian electric vehicle market by bringing Exeed, its luxury division. Although the arrival of Exeed in Brazil was previously announced by the Caoa Group, this expansion has not yet materialized. Now, the plans include introducing a luxury model from Chery’s Exlantix line in Brazil, highlighting the Exlantix ES. This model, which recently started its sales in China, stands out for its promise of an impressive range of 905 km.
New Electric Car from Chery’s Luxury Division Can Cost Up to R$ 675,826
The Exeed Exlantix ES is known in China as Sterra ES and is being sold in five versions, with prices ranging from 225,800 to 339,800 yuan (R$ 152,601 to R$ 229,645). It is a relatively low price for the country, but it will not be practiced in the international market. According to Chery’s chairman, Yin Tongyue, he previously stated that the sedan price could reach 1 million Yuan (R$ 675,826) in the global market.
For Exeed, this is not an unrealistic price, as the goal is to position against other luxury brands like Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz in all countries. In some cases, it will even be offered as a separate brand from Exeed, as will happen in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Russia, where it will debut next year, with the promise of having a lineup of six cars by 2026. The new luxury electric car from Chery is manufactured with Chery’s new E0X platform, developed specifically for electric vehicles.

New Exeed Exlantix ES Has Efficient Drag Coefficient of 0.205 Cd
The previously mentioned platform will also be used by the ET SUV, expected in 2024. As is fashionable in China, there is a visual identity composed of dual headlights, using a slim LED line on the top and the main set in the bumper. It is quite sleek to maximize aerodynamics, having a drag coefficient of 0.205 Cd. It measures 4,945 mm in length, 1,978 mm in width, 1,480 mm in height, and with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
The model will feature three powertrain options, starting with a 185 kW (251 hp) rear-wheel-drive motor, which can work with a 60.5 kWh or 66.4 kWh battery, both lithium iron phosphate (LFP). Exeed claims that the new Chery luxury electric car has a range of 550 km and 605 km, respectively, according to the Chinese CLTC testing cycle.
Just above is the 230 kW (313 hp) motor, with one option using a 79.9 kWh battery called M3P, which combines LFP chemistry with nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC), promising a range of 720 km. The other option is an NMC battery of 97.7 kWh, which achieves up to 905 km of range.

Finally, at the top of the lineup is the all-wheel-drive version, with 353 kW (480 hp), M3P battery of 79.9 kWh, and a range of up to 650 km. The manufacturer revealed the performance number only for the top-of-the-line version, with all-wheel drive and 480 hp, stating that it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
Given its positioning, the Exeed Exlantix ES will be a well-equipped car, starting even from the outside. Right below the main headlights is an interactive LED display capable of showing information such as weather forecasts, temperature, or some animated messages.
