Acquired from ABB, WEG, and BYD, equipment will use Move’s digital platform and will be deployed in 2024
One of the largest highway service station groups in Brazil, Rede Graal will invest around R$ 15 million in ultrafast and semirapid charging stations for electric vehicles. The chargers will be implemented in 37 of the 50 units of the brand during the first half of 2024, located along the main highways in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul.
The 74 units were acquired from the companies WEG, ABB, and BYD. They are capable of charging electric vehicles in just 20 minutes on average, compared to more than 4 or 5 hours with traditional chargers. There will be two charging stations at each base, utilizing the digital platform and operations and maintenance services from the electric mobility solutions company Move.
