BMW X7: System Updates and Availability
The second modification to the system, carried out this year, aimed to make it easier to use, according to BMW executives: “You can find the desired commands in just three steps.”
Additionally, the new BMW X7 allows downloading third-party applications directly to the platform, without restricting the native functionalities of the system.
The new generation of the BMW X7 is already available at the brand’s showrooms and dealerships for those interested in experiencing and acquiring the sports SUV this year.
The recently launched X7 also includes new technology-focused features designed to attract those with over R$ 1 million to invest in the German SUV.
In addition to the luxurious interior, which features carbon fiber trim, a Skylounge sunroof, and a Bower & Wilkins sound system with 20 speakers and 1,465 watts of power, the new X7 presents an innovative Ultra HD TFT panel, with a 14.9-inch curved display integrated into the completely redesigned panel. The instrument panel continues to have 12.3 inches, while the operating system is version 8.5.
According to Paganoni, the BMW X7 is an extremely agile and fast vehicle, despite accommodating up to 7 people. He joked about the speed limitation of 250 km/h, stating that the car’s engine seems never-ending.
According to the manufacturer, the BMW X7 is not only agile and powerful but also highly efficient. Equipped with an MHEV powertrain, this spacious SUV (5,164 mm in length x 2,000 mm in width x 1,796 mm in height x 3,105 mm in wheelbase) weighing 2,460 kilograms, boasts an impressive fuel economy of about 15 km/l in combined conditions.
The S68 engine, a V8 TwinPower Turbo Mild Hybrid, marks the beginning of a new era for BMW. According to Emílio Paganoni, Head of Training at BMW Brazil, this innovative engine is equipped with an electric motor and a 48-volt battery, replacing the alternator and providing unprecedented efficiency.
The MHEV powertrain of the BMW X7 offers the driver an impressive power of 530 hp and a torque of 76.5 kgf/m. Furthermore, the 7-seater SUV, the only one in the Brazil in the Super Premium category, features all-wheel drive XDrive and rear-wheel steering, delivering an exceptional driving experience.

The 7-seater SUV made its debut in Brazil in 2019 and, two years later, received a limited edition called Dark Shadow. After a short period of unavailability, the BMW X7 returns with a striking presence, showing that it is not here to remain on the sidelines.
