Honda has officially announced the launch of the 2026 Civic Advanced Hybrid in Brazil, maintaining the price of R$ 265,900 and expected arrival at dealerships in July.
Exported from Thailand, the sedan arrives shortly after being presented at the Interlagos Festival, with discreet visual changes, a new multimedia center, and the same hybrid e:HEV system.

Inside, there are significant advancements in connectivity.
The digital panel displays information on a 10.2-inch screen, but the biggest news is the 9-inch multimedia center with Google Built‑In — which integrates Google Maps, voice assistant, and Google Play — in addition to wireless mirroring of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The 2026 model also features electrically adjustable seats for both the driver and passenger, dual-zone air conditioning, a sunroof, induction charging, and four illuminated USB-C ports.
The premium sound system, designed by Bose, features 12 speakers and remains in line with the previous version.
The myHonda Connect platform allows remote control via smartphone, with vehicle tracking, notifications, 24-hour assistance, and service scheduling.
Internal Space and Trunk Capacity
With 495 liters of capacity, the trunk remains spacious and suitable for the category.
The interior ergonomics also remain unchanged, offering good internal space and improved ergonomics, as in the previous model.
Hybrid Engine e:HEV and Range Above 1,000 km of the Honda Civic 2026
The 2026 Civic continues to be equipped with the e:HEV hybrid system, combining a 2.0 naturally aspirated Atkinson cycle engine (143 hp and 19.1 kgfm) and two electric motors: one generator and another traction motor with 184 hp and 32.1 kgfm.
Honda does not disclose official fuel consumption for the 2026 model, but data from Procon and Inmetro related to the previous version indicate averages of 18.3 km/l in the city and 15.9 km/l on highways.
With a fuel tank of approximately 46 liters (the same capacity as the 2025 model), the combined range exceeds 800 km, potentially reaching over 1,000 km on predominantly urban routes—where the EV Drive mode (100% electric) is frequently activated.
Available Operation and Driving Modes
The driver can switch between three modes of operation for the hybrid system:
- EV Drive: Traction exclusively by electric motors
- Hybrid Drive: Combustion engine recharges the batteries
- Engine Drive: Activation only of the combustion engine
In addition to these, there are four driving profiles — Normal, Sport, Eco, and Individual — that adjust the car’s behavior to different scenarios and preferences.
Honda Sensing Security Package Remains Complete
The Honda Sensing package remains complete, with eight airbags, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking for collision mitigation, lane-keeping assist, evasive action mitigation, and automatic headlight adjustment.
Also present are blind spot camera (LaneWatch), stability and traction control, front and rear sensors, and a multi-view rear camera.
Colors, Warranty, and Additional Items of the Honda Civic 2026
The Civic Advanced Hybrid is offered in Pearl Black and Basalt Gray, always with a black interior.
It is possible to acquire original accessories, such as door trims, stainless steel sill protectors, rubber floor mats, exhaust tips, and trunk trays.
The general warranty is 3 years with no mileage limit; the electric system (motors and battery) has coverage of 8 years or 160,000 km.
Comparison with Direct Competitors of the Segment
With an unchanged price compared to the previous line — R$ 265,900 — the Honda Civic 2026 positions itself as an alternative to models such as Toyota Corolla Altis Hybrid, Hyundai Elantra Hybrid, and Volkswagen Jetta.
All may offer similar performance or economy, but the Civic stands out due to embedded technology, advanced hybrid system, and standard equipment.
According to sources, the hybrid Corolla starts at around R$ 199,000, but lacks Google Built‑In center or sunroof.
Meanwhile, the Jetta, although it features turbo engines and balanced finishes, does not adopt a complete hybrid system or equipment connected by Google.
