IFPE and Petrobras Open 473 Spots for Free Courses: Training for the Oil and Gas Sector
IF and Petrobras announced the opening of 473 spots for free professional qualification courses aimed at those looking to enter the job market in strategic areas. The courses are offered at the campuses of Caruaru and Ipojuca and are part of the Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program, an initiative aimed at strengthening the Oil and Gas sector and training professionals in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability.
Registration is now open and will continue until October 16. Interested individuals must access the official program website and fill out the electronic application form, attaching the requested documentation. Registration is completely free, and candidate selection will be conducted through a public lottery. Classes are scheduled to start on November 11 at both campuses.

Free Qualification Courses for a New Phase in the Job Market
The Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program, developed in partnership between IFPE and Petrobras, offers a great opportunity for individuals in vulnerable situations, especially women, people with disabilities, Black individuals, mixed-race individuals, Indigenous people, quilombolas, refugees, and transgender individuals. The training offered by IFPE focuses on the industrial sector, more specifically in the Oil and Gas field, with high-demand technical courses in the market.
In total, there will be 11 courses offered across the campuses of Caruaru and Ipojuca, all in person, focusing on the technological axis of Control and Industrial Processes. Participants in the free courses will also receive a monthly scholarship of R$660, which can reach R$858 for women with children up to 11 years old, ensuring that students can fully dedicate themselves to their training.
In addition to technical qualification, the program offers reinforcement in subjects such as Portuguese and Mathematics, aiming to improve the participants’ education. There will also be psychosocial support and courses focused on socio-emotional skills, so that students are prepared both technically and emotionally for the challenges of the job market.
