The Rivals of the Peugeot 208
Despite being the fastest, the Peugeot 208 has rivals that are close behind. The closest competitor is the Hyundai HB20 1.0 turbo, which generates up to 120 hp and 17.5 kgfm of torque.
This model goes from zero to 100 km/h in 9.3 seconds, with a top speed of 192 km/h.
Behind this duo is the Volkswagen Polo 1.0 TSI, which has 116 hp and 16.8 kgfm of torque, and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 195 km/h.
It is important to highlight that Volkswagen has reduced the power of the 200 TSI model, which previously delivered 128 hp and now has 116 hp.
Finally, there is the Chevrolet Onix 1.0 Turbo, with 116 hp and 16.8 kgfm of torque. It technically ties with the Volkswagen Polo, as it also accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds, but comes last due to its maximum speed of 187 km/h.

208 com certeza! Não é de hoje que a Peugeot faz os carros mais bem acabados, bonitos e mais tecnológicos. Só no Brasil que preferem pagar mais pra ter menos.
