Santander Universities, in partnership with Cursos Edgar Abreu, is offering thousands of scholarships to anyone wishing to enter the financial market.
The financial market looks for workers who have certification and to obtain it requires a lot of investment in time and money. Thinking about it, the Santander Universities announced on Tuesday (24) the opening of thousands of scholarships to prepare for the main certifications in the country. In total, there are 6 scholarships with free classes that are the result of a partnership between Santander and Cursos Edgar Abreu.
Scholarships offered by the Santander Universities program
The partnership with Edgar Abreu Courses aims to offer opportunities in preparatory courses for CPA-20, with approximately 4.200 scholarships and CEA, with approximately 1.800 scholarships. These are the most sought after certifications in the investment market granted by the Brazilian Association of Financial and Capital Market Entities (ANBIMA).
It is important to emphasize that the courses have a total cost of R$ 1.436 and the certification R$ 1.286, and both will be fully funded by Santander, Cursos Edgar Abreu and ANBIMA.
According to the president of 4U Edtech, over the years essential partnerships have been established with Santander, so that access to professional training ever greater, more inclusive and democratic, making it possible for thousands of high-level professionals to enter the financial market. The offer of scholarships by Santander Universities demonstrates the potentiation of the advances that the entities seek for the sector. It is important to emphasize that during the preparatory course, participants will learn more about the main contents addressed in the tests and, after completion, Cursos Edgar Abreu will apply a test.
How to apply for Santander Universities scholarships?
The 1.650 scholarship holders who achieve the best performance can take the official CPA-20 test, which will be carried out by ANBIMA, with costs fully paid by Santander. For the CEA, registration will also be free for those 350 first placed.
Students will have lifetime access to the course and will have approximately 2 months to take the test, which will include topics such as variable income, derivatives, investment funds, fixed income and basic principles of economics and finance.
According to the executive superintendent of Santander Universities in Brazil, Nicolás Vergara, the scholarships represent a great opportunity for candidates to enter the investment sector for free. This sector continues to expand and increasingly has the need for professionals with specific certifications in the market.
