With the Goal of Educating and Bringing Knowledge to Over 270 Thousand People, iFood, in Partnership with Sebrae, Launched Several Free Short-Duration Courses for Restaurant Owners and Employees
With registrations open until May 31, the free courses range from people management to marketing and sales. The idea of Sebrae and iFood is that the free courses help in the professional development of employees and about 270 thousand restaurant owners, covering topics related to financial planning, management, and best practices in food service. The free courses are short, lasting only 2 to 20 hours, with a certificate offered by Sebrae.

According to iFood’s Head of Education, Renata Citron, the company is expanding its outreach while also increasing its responsibility to society. She states that the partnership with Sebrae has a great chance of reaching many people and democratizing access to professional development.
Earlier in April, the company had already announced a free course for 120 women in software development, and it doesn’t stop there; in recent months, it has offered free courses in data science and programming for low-income individuals, including cis and trans women.
