Coca-Cola in Favor of Gender Diversity Within the Agroindustry

Solar Coca-Cola has been committed in recent years to develop numerous initiatives that help stimulate and expand gender diversity within the company and serve as an example for other companies to do the same.

In the Northeast especially, there is a scarcity of women working in areas considered “for men,” so Coca-Cola believes it can help change this scenario.

To make this happen, in addition to providing job openings and other exclusive opportunities for women, Solar Coca-Cola is also establishing partnerships that will enable the immediate qualification of these professionals and investment in actions that promise to fully support their female employees, such as increasing maternity leave to 180 days, implementing programs for Pregnant Women, reserving rooms for women to breastfeed privately within the manufacturing units, among other initiatives.

The Presence of Women Within Coca-Cola Grew by 20%

After the development and implementation of projects aimed at increasing women’s participation in the industry, it is estimated that from December 2020 to July 2021, Solar Coca-Cola saw a growth of about 16% of women working in the operational environment within the company’s units.

Currently, the company already has more than 20% of women in leadership positions at Solar Coca-Cola. Within the corporate area, about 58% of employees are women actively participating. Still within the corporate area, about 45% of leadership is also female.
