Shipbuilding: Drillship Project Near Resumption at Brasfels (RJ) and Jurong (ES)

After the announcement of job openings at Brasfels shipyard, another positive news for Brazilian shipbuilding workers was the important step taken by the winner of the auction for the drillships from Sete Brasil, which are docked at the finishing dock of the Jurong shipyard in Aracruz (ES) and at Brasfels in Angra dos Reis (RJ)

The group Magni Partners and MIC Capital Partners (a Mubadala group company) created a special purpose entity (SPE) aimed at owning and managing the drillships Arpoador and Guarapari (under construction at the Jurong shipyard in Aracruz (ES) along with the semi-submersible vessels Urca and Frade, under construction at Brasfels.
